We are excited to announce that we are adding a new charity to our monthly “Charity of The Month” portion of our referral program!
Over the past couple of years, we have rotated between three charities that we at Pilot Insurance Agency support through that program. For every referral we receive in a month, we give a $10 gift card to the client that refers someone and add $10 a month to the charity of the month that month.
We will continue to support Women’s Care Center of Mishawaka, Hannah’s House in Mishawaka, and Ryan’s Place in Goshen. We are now adding Foster Closet at Hillside to our program.
The Foster Closet at Hillside is located at 21567 Ireland Rd in South Bend. It is on the grounds and sits behind Hillside Missionary Church. The mission statement for The Foster Closet is:
The Foster Closet at Hillside exists to encourage, love, and support foster families in our community by providing clothing and basic essentials to children of all ages in foster, adoptive, and kinship placements.
It is a place for those who receive foster children to go pick up basic supplies when they need them. There is no cost to the foster parents for these supplies. All supplies are provided through donations from the community.
The Foster Closet will be open starting the beginning of July. They will be open from 6-8 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They have had a lot of donations already, but will be needing more going forward. Here are a couple of pictures of some of the items already donated.
July will be the first month where your referrals will earn a $10 donation to the Foster Closet at Hillside, so be sure to send your friends and family to get a quote. They can save some money and each one will earn money for the Foster Closet. Win/Win!!
